Elegant hotel in the centre of Saigon

Au Lac is an elegant hotel in the centre of Saigon. All the interior of the hotel is stylish. The rooms are nicely furnished with all amenities like good TV, kettle, safe, toiletries etc.. Our - Suite with Balcony - had a balcony which is an advantage. Breakfast was tasty & versatile. The hotel offers a small pool with a bar and loungers on 11th floor - very nice perk. The staff is kind, helpful and informative. We bought a trip to the delta from them and it was good. Definitely recommended hotel.

The room was advertised as 35 m2, in fact was more like 22 m2:-)

Family with 2 teenage boys: hotel was the in the perfect location, with great facilities!

Check-in was very smooth and as we were only on a stop-over trip (on our way to Australia), we wanted to leave our bags at the hotel for our last day - which was no problem at all or the staff. The pool / gym / decking area was a welcome outside space to unwind after a busy day sightseeing. The G&Ts were also very welcome with a great view of the city below! The breakfast / dining area was great with a big selection of both Vietnamese foods as well as more western choices.

Fair price for a one-night stay in the City Center

Perfect Location in the city centre, responsive personnel, ok breakfast.

a tiny window-less room (as expected) The confusing/misleading and sometimes not helpful personnel. They could not help book the restaurant. I found the smell in the lobby hall strange (probably due to the gushing fountain)

Great oasis amongst the madness of HCMC

Great small friendly hotel. Fantastic real fast and coffee. Very clean and lovely rooftop pool.

Rooms a little on the small side but ok for big city.

comfortable for a few days

very friendly staff, lovely breakfast and afternoon tea buffet and the rooftop were very nice!

the airconditioning in the room needed to stay on for a long time before it felt any cooler. the airport shuttle is very expensive so take a taxi or grab instead!

the location, the roof top, good value for Money

the bathroom with no door leads to disturbing each other and lack of privacy. As long as you use the room alone it’s great but if you are two people :(. The bed is way too hard for non Asian gusts!

Fancy hotel with nice colors

We really liked the pool on the roof and the bar, where we had drinks, the room was very clean and nice - the furniture was pretty. the hotel looks exactly like on the pictures. the staff was also very friendly and speaks English very well. for breakfast we had more traditional Asian food, which was nice, of course there are some litte other options as well.

we liked the gym but there where no mats available :(

Great location, beautiful hotel. Good staff. I would come back.

Only 1 pillow per person, i got luxury tastes now I like my pillow pair More seriously, the room we received was not exactly as expected (darker, no real window/ but still very nice and comfortable and the rest of the hotel made up for it.
